After achieving degrees in French Grammar, French Literature and Latin at Bordeaux University , she adopted a career in the local authority of Vendee, becoming controlling manager over several libraries. Since moving to England she has considerable experience teaching French in nurseries, schools and to adults. She plays harpsichord and keyboard, and now composes music.
